OBJECTIVES
Youth Empowerment: Focusing on programs and activities that empower young people, providing them with skills, knowledge, and resources to excel in various fields
Awareness and Advocacy: Highlighting the importance of issues relevant to youth, such as education, employment, mental health, environmental concerns, and social justice.
Cultural and Artistic Showcases: Celebrating the talents and creativity of the youth through cultural performances, art exhibitions, music, and dance.
Encouraging Civic Engagement: Promoting active participation of the youth in community development, volunteering, and social initiatives.
Around 35,000 youths from across the state gathered at the SMS stadium to celebrate the National Youth Day to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanada on Saturday.
The event was inaugurated by chief ministerAshok Gehlot who spoke on the role of youths in the development of the state and nation.
State has left no stone unturned to capitalize on the mass gathering by displaying its policies and schemes especially in the field of education and health through stalls and via exhibition.
Outcome :The cadets saw various activities ranging from group discussion (samvad) to exhibition highlighting each and every facet of Swami Vivekananda. The disciplined youths were seen exchanging social, economic and political issues revolving around their region.
Such events invoke a sense of unity among youths from diverse regions.
