• To know the importance of Azadi and the struggle behind it.
• To commemorate the sacrifices of Freedom Fighters.
• To showcase the role of National Cadet Corps in nation building.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of it's people, culture and achievements. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have been a instrument in bringing India this far in its evolutionary journey. The official journey of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav commenced on 12th March 2021 which started a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence and will end post a year on 15th August 2023.

Under this initiative a media interaction was organised at Patrika Gate, Jaipur from 0700hr to 0900hr on 13^th August 2022. The Dy Director General of NCC Rajasthan, Flight Commodore L. k. Jain sir and the Commanding Officers of all the three wings of NCC, Jaipur joined cadets in this media interaction. Cadets talked about the importance of Independence and role of NCC in nation building as India’s NCC is the largest youth organisation in Asia which prepare youth to serve nation and teach unity and discipline.

Outcome – Cadets actively and enthusiastically participated in this media interaction and celebrated India’s Independence and glory and got inspired by all the dignitaries.
