Objective

  • To sensitize the need of donating blood to the needy in time.
  • To motivate all the cadets to take a pledge to donate blood once in a year.
  • To impart to them the value of blood donation.
  • To aware of the scientific information about the blood groups.
  • To provide safe and quality blood and blood components collected from voluntary donors, round the clock, at affordable cost to the general public and free of cost to the poor.
  • To ensure safety and quality of blood.
  • To motivate and maintain a permanent well-indexed record of voluntary blood donors.
  • To educate the community on the beneficial aspects of blood donation and harmful effect of collecting blood from paid donors.
  • To actively encourage voluntary blood donation and gradually eliminate professional blood donors.
  • To promote AIDS awareness and education to the general public.

The NCC Cadets of IIS (Deemed to be University) together donated blood on 2nd December 2022. Around 10 cadets and PI staff participated actively and enthusiastically in the camp. The doctors and the members of Rotary Cub, Jaipur acquainted the donors with the importance of donating blood for helping others as well as for one’s health. They further emphasized on how blood donation regulates production of blood cells in our body. After that we pledged to donated blood at least once a year. All the donators were excited and energetic throughout the camp.

Outcome - Cadets learned the importance of helping others and role of circulatory system in a human body.
