RRM visit regarding Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan

Objective: Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan intends to reach out to the masses and spread awareness about substance abuse through various activities like:

  • Awareness generation programmes
  • Focus on higher educational Institutions, university campuses and schools
  • Reaching out to the Community and identifying dependent population
  • Focus on counselling and treatment facilities in hospitals and rehabilitation centres that have been geo-tagged
  • Capacity building programmes for service providers

On September 13, 2022 all the cadets of IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur attended the event of Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan where Respected Rajya Raksha Mantri Shri Ajay Bhatt was invited as the chief guest. He interacted with all cadets and discussed the harmful effects of using Tobacco products and shared his life experiences to the cadets. Followed by this, various cultural performances were shown and everyone participated and enjoyed the event enthusiastically.

Outcome: It was a very useful event to create awareness among the people to quit use of tobacco. Also, cadets got inspired by the valuable experience shared.
