NCC Orientation Program

Objective:

• To provide overall knowledge about NCC.
• How students should join NCC.
• Aims, motto and history of NCC.

On September 2, 2022 the department of NCC at IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur organized an orientation programme for the newly enrolled students of NCC in AV Hall from 9:30am to 1:15pm. The programme started on a warm welcome note by Dr. Renu Shungloo HOD, Sports with the total strength of 230 students including aspiring NCC Cadet and new enrolments. Then Cdt. Divyanshi Jhala and CUO Tapasvini Shekhawat took the programme ahead informing students about all the NCC activities conducted in the college and also shared some marvelous achievements of the senior NCC cadets. Further adding to it, various alumnae of NCC of our university, Muskan Ranjan, Vidhi Rathore, Gargi Singh Rao, Ritika Bartwal, and Anushka Jangid, also explained why and how students should join NCC and briefed the aims, motto and history of NCC. Lastly a heartfelt thank you note was given by our university’s ANO, Dr. Neelam Sharma. The programme was concluded through an interactive Q/A session organized for the newly enrolled students to clear their doubts.

Outcome: It was a very useful session for that student who wants to join NCC and build a career in defence services. The alumni’s filled the students with enthusiasm and motivated them to join NCC.
