OBJECTIVES 

  • Student Health and Well-being: Prioritizing the eye health of students and staff by offering convenient access to eye check-ups and raising awareness about the significance of regular eye examinations.

  • Early Detection and Prevention: Identifying vision-related problems early among the university population to prevent potential eye issues from escalating and impacting academic performance.

  • Promoting Eye Health Education: Educating students, faculty, and university staff about good eye health practices, including proper use of screens, eye strain prevention, and the importance of regular eye exams. 

 

All staff members and students were given free eye check-ups organized  by the Department of Physical Education, Sports Board and NCC Units of the IIS (deemed to   be University) in collaboration with “Centre for Sight” to organize an Eye Check-up Camp on 16 September 2023 (Saturday).

 

Outcome:This results in improved vision for students and staff, enhancing their overall quality of life and academic/work performance. Additionally, the event raises awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups and eye health practices.
