Objective:
· To provide overall knowledge about NCC.
· How students should join NCC.
· Aims, motto and history of NCC.
CUO Ishita Gupta and Cadet. Sgt. Nikita Kanwar of IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur got selected for the All India Vayu Sainik Camp. The camp was 2 phases Pre-VSC and VSC. Pre-VSC was from 6th-13th September 2022, held in Udaipur where further selection and skimming of cadets took place through various competitions like health and hygiene, special book test etc. CUO Ishita Gupta won gold medal in the first camp in Health & Hygiene competition.
The main camp was held at Jodhpur from 24th September 2022 to 5th October 2022, where cadets from all over India, different directorates participated. Their day started from morning PT session at 0545 hours, followed by breakfast and fall-ins, practice sessions for various competitions like drill or discussing for viva that was conducted at the end of the camp, best pilot competition, followed by lunch and rest time. The evenings were filled with lectures about aero-modelling etc, followed by tea break and games period. Cadets also got to fly at the Jodhpur base, something which all NCC air cadet looks forward to.
Outcome: Overall, the experience for the cadets was one of a kind and they enthusiastically participated in every event of the camp.
